Very dismissive; I provided a suggestion as to what I thought the problem was, acknowledging that I'm obviously not an expert, he essentially laughed and said that I was definitely wrong. After several visits he finally took me seriously enough to schedule a procedure to investigate problem. As it turned out I was right with my guess; he made no attempt to apologize for being so dismissive of my concerns, and offered me no treatment options. A cursory search online shows there are several treatment options. He essentially told me there were no options and I "just had to deal with it."
