I love Dr McCole, I have been seeing her since 2010. She has given me great advice and does answer my questions thoroughly. She is also not quick to prescribe medications of there is a vitamin or supplement that serve the same purpose. It was during this conversation that she mentioned she went to a seminar about teenagers and depression, I liked that she was interested in that topic because it is an ever growing problem.

My issue is not with Dr McCole, it is with the office and the way that it is managed. Every time I go there there are parenting magazines. I don't have kids and I'm not interested in that type of magazine. Also, the waiting room is small, especially when you have to deal with other peoples' unruly children. During my recent visit there were two heavy women who thought it was just adorable that their extremely heavy toddler was running into things, opening the door that leads to the examination rooms. Neither of the women got up to move said toddler away from danger or to prevent him from being a further nuisance because, of course, he was also squealing and shrieking. It;s a waiting room for patients, not a playground. Just to note, I only schedule appointments when I am sick and need to see a doctor, which is rare. Almost every time I call to schedule an appointment I usually get Lisa who immediately asks if she can place me on hold to assist the customer that called before me. At first I didn't mind waiting, but then I realized I was on hold for roughly seven minutes plus! This is extremely frustrating how they haven't figured out that they are understaffed in the office. Recently, I called to get a doctor's note, I was told I will probably need to be seen but she would have a nurse call me back to make sure. The nurse, Diana, never called back, and I left work sick and again Lisa answered and immediately put me on hold. I called back and she asked to put me on hold again, this time to check in a patient. She asked me to hold and I said, "No, I would rather not. I'm trying to schedule and appointment." A horrible excuse was made up in order to put me on hold. Once Lisa is on the phone I advises that she works in a doctor's office and recommended that they get more people to answer the phones and check in patients. Meanwhile she kept putting me on hold to put other patients calling in on hold. I just can't believe this is how they run a doctor's office! She basically said that it not uncommon to have angry patients because of the hold time. Lisa gave me the next available appointment, which was a few minutes before I called and it was a nurse practitioner! All of the doctors were on vacation! I asked if their patients normally go to the ER for flu-like symptoms and of course she said no. The nurse practitioner was booked for the rest of the evening except for the 3pm appointment I couldn't make. I reminded her that the nurse was supposed to call me back four hours ago and I wouldn't have to go through this, I got a weak apology. Finally, I spoke to the nurse Diana, who said she never received the message, another weak apology, and she explained that I could go to urgent care instead of the ER. I was so thoroughly disgusted with the lack of empathy from both Lisa and Diana that I just hung up. Diana was so concerned about my co-payment at Urgent Care that she used that as a distraction from the real issue which is incompetence. If she couldn't call me back, have another nurse call me. If there are not enough people to get simple procedures done in a doctor's office then maybe you should re-assess your staff and figure out why your employees are giving pathetic excuses for not doing their jobs, If I could rate Dr McCole alone then I would give her 4 stars, but I cannot stand this office! I may start going to the other location she works from, otherwise, I will probably look for a new doctor.

I had the misfortune of enduring this woman a few years back. I don't know how many people have been treated badly by this woman's unprofessional behavior! I switched practices on a recommendation and saw Judith McCole who was very nice the first appointment, then she turned into a monster. Obnoxious is the right word for her. She was rude and abrasive and told me she was fed up of 'stay at home moms' like me complaining and I needed to.... quote: "shit or get off the pot" I was so shocked that anyone would speak to me like that, let alone the Dr I had just spoken to about the way I was feeling - I was already feeling so down and depressed. She basically told me everything was in my head. The nurse APOLOGIZED to me as she took my blood afterwards and said "I'm sorry, its not you". My blood work came back that I DID have thyroid issues. I wrote a letter of complaint to the practice manager but never heard back. I never returned. She needs to have an office job where she has no interaction with people! PS she really pushes the reiki massage sessions she does - which are billable but do absolutely nothing to help your back pain or anything else!
