We specialize in personalized, thorough, unhurried primary eyecare, by offering comprehensive eye exams to detect and treat visual impairment and/or ocular discomfort. This is accomplished by: -using the most up-to-date diagnostic technology -delivering the most advanced high quality eyewear including the latest in contact lens technology -offering vision therapy services -co-managing LASIK and PRK, as well as other vision correction procedures -treating many ocular diseases/accidents utilizing prescriptive medications, non-prescriptive paliative measures, and minor in-office procedures (such as foreign body removal, punctal plugs for dry eye, etc.) We aim to be your neighborhood eyecare center. The doctor is available for emergencies, saving the patients unnecessary trips to the ER. We don't believe in having technicians do most of the exam and having the doctor step in for less than 5 minutes. With us, the doctor does the entire exam and spends a minumum of 20-25 minutes with each patient.

I have been wearing glasses since age 8. In my lifetime, I've had several eye doctors--most were very competent. But Dr. Metsch is much more than just "competent"--he is exceptional. He is very thorough and explains things in great detail but in a way that is undertandable. He is very knowledgable and seems to go to great pains to keep current with the latest technology and medicine. In addition, Dr. Metsch's office is accommodating re: insurance, always making sure they bill for covered services first before charging me. I have now been a patient of his for 5 years. This is the longest I've ever kept an optometrist and I will continue to be his patient as long as he practices in my area!

Dr. Metsch is the best. He is always thorough never rushes through an exam. He is excellent with adults and also with children. I wouldn't think about ever going to anyone else.
