My daughter has been a patient of Dr. McHale's for a couple of years. The wait and service used to be better but now it is horrible. She has joined a large group and when you make an appointment plan on waiting for an hour or two after that time. On our last visit the Dr. came in and told our daughter she was surprised to see her there for her arm as it was usually her knee, my daughter has never been there for her knee but has been there 4 times for her arm. She then told us she was amazed and not expecting to see what she saw on her x-ray which was the exact issue we had been there for the last 4 times !!! Dr. McHale is quirky and does have a very direct sense about her but i don't doubt her ability, unfortunately she has allowed her practice to disintegrate into a true numbers game with far too many patients being run through to keep up the quality. We had already discussed looking for a new doctor after the mistaken identity issue but then got the bill for the cheap plastic brace that they provided us on the last visit. It was billed to our insurance company at $396 and is available on the internet for $52. When i called, the billing person stated that they do mark the items up as they are submitted to the insurance companies and most of the time that is who pays for them. I understand a mark up but if I can buy it for $52 (and there has to be a markup there too) and you sell it to me for almost $400..that's not a mark up that's taking advantage of people. It appears this whole practice is now a money making numbers game. A shame because as I said, I really do think Dr. McHale has a true talent.

Horrible! Office staff had me schedule my daughters appointment at 8:20 because they like to see babies early in the morning apparently. Office staff is extremely rude....you don't yell at the parents in the waiting room what their co-pay is...or yell at the parents for not knowing what their co pay is...Dummy has the file right in front of her!
We waited in the waiting room until 9:15 and the dr came in at 9:30...spent 3 minutes with us and tell me to come back in 3 months if her leg has not straightened out....WASTE OF MY TIME!
