This guy is a jerk. It was like pulling teeth to get answers to my questions. His attitude was smug and condescending. I wonder if he treats men
with less contempt. If there was a negative star, I would give him that.

I am usually a very optimistic person in life and I understand that doctors are not perfect, they are just people like the rest of us. However, after today's visit, I left this doctor's office, and I was flabbergasted by the experience that I had. Dr. Rothman was the most arrogant, pompous, and ignorant Dr. I had ever been to in my life. He attacked me verbally, would not listen to me as a patient and did not take the time to communicate appropriately. DUring my visit, I had an intern in the room with the doctor and I. I was not introduced to the Doctors assistant and then when the visit began, we sat in a dark room while the doctor spewed medical jargon and the intern typed rigerously as if to be a stenographer in a court room. Afterwards, I was quickly "diagnosed" and as I questioned him, he began to argue with me and grew angry because I had basic questions about my condition. I was disgusted by the TWO HOUR wait time to see the doctor, and then enraged to get that kind of treatment from a professional. As an older, more experienced doctor, I expected professionalism but instead recieved a mediocre doctor with the bedside manners of Kathy Bates in the movie "Misery."
