The podiatrist, Dr. Palmer, wrote a prescription for a Dover shoe store, even though they had shoe fitting and ordering there. I called and explained that would be at least 2 trips- over 160 miles. Donna told me that my insurance company told her they didn't cover diabetic shoes unless they had braces. She didn't know who she talked to, but when I called United Healtcare, they had a record of her call and different info. The person who fitted the shoes was cordial. The day I came in to be fitted, the women were apparently on lunch break. One female turned around, looked at me, then turned back around, not a word. I was told the shoes would take "months and months" to receive. I waited three weeks, called, and was told they had just received them. They fitted me for size 8.5. They had ordered 10.5 I was aware at this point that either they couldn't or wouldn't resolve anything. They sent me a bill for the co-pay which was paid. Donna said that this billing error was caused by my insurance company. I told her that I was certain that this was not the case. This was on Fri 8/3. She said she would call back on Mon. I called her before they closed on Mon. She said she was extremely busy., and had a stack of things to do, that I shouldn't stress over it. I told her that she needs to fix the billing error, and let me know when it was fixed. I still haven't heard back from her, as of 8/14/12.

They paid close attention to me and all of my questions were answered. Their staff is very friendly and professional. I was very satisfied with my visit. They were helpful and I left feeling encouraged. Dr. Palmer is very nice and does his job well, but his wife is the sweetest physicians' wife I've ever met and she works well and is good at what she does also. It takes a while to get an app't. but that speaks for itself.....He has alot of patients!

The staff really knows what they're doing, and they know a lot about the company they work for. They're able to answer most of my questions, and the only ones they don't are the ones they need their boss's approval for. The restrooms were very well-stocked at this provider's office. They always have toilet seat covers, paper towels and toilet paper and never run out. They always dress so professionally here, the entire staff obviously makes an effort to look their best and maintain a very professional appearance. I was completely at ease during my appointment here. They went to great lengths to make sure I was completely relaxed and comfortable the entire time. One of the first things I noticed about this business was how many different areas of the building were handicap-accessible. I have been to other places where I couldn't tell how someone in a wheelchair could even enter, but they really spent a lot of time to accommodate people with all different needs.
