Phenomenal provider that cares ! I had a wonderful experience and this was my first time visiting a podiatrist and I was not sure what to expect. Dr. Delayo came highly recommended. Prompt appointment.

Dr. Delayo is a wonderful podiatrist; she's very pleasant, very friendly, yet very professional; she explains everything clearly, is very intelligent, and quick as a whip - part of her personality but not so that you're not properly cared for - she's definitely concerned about your issues, treating them and getting you well. On my initial visit, she confirmed what I already knew, I’d have to have surgery, but I had a planned trip quickly coming up, and I figured that the surgery would then have to be delayed for quite some time, because of her full schedule, but Dr. Delayo arranged to ‘squeeze’ me in for surgery in less than 2 weeks, thereby having it done in plenty of time before my trip, which she did not have to go out of her way to do! (these days you're lucky if you can get a routine office visit in less than a month, let alone with a medical specialist!) I will stick with Dr. Delayo for all of my podiatry-related issues! In the past I was treated by a few other podiatrists in the area, and was never pleased with the treatment I got or of the doctor doing it; I had an ongoing problem that I put off for too long, because I didn’t want to go back to those doctors; this time I did an online search and found Dr. Delayo (I prefer a word-of-mouth referral, but none of my friends or co-workers were treated by a podiatrist, so choosing her from an online search was a big deal for me –I went with low expectations and was truly, pleasantly surprised! (Hence, my doing this review, for others who are searching for an excellent podiatrist, and Dr. Delayo is by far the best in the area! The only thing I have to say not necessarily negative, than informative, is getting to her Scranton office - finding the bldg. is fairly easy if you 're familiar with the area, across the street from Moses Taylor Hospital, but make sure you go into the correct entrance door (in the back of the bldg.) because it's like a maze inside the bldg., especially if you go in the wrong entrance (that coincides to the office you’re going to – I mistakenly entered in the front, then had to take the elevator to the next floor, but then go down (or up?) the steps & back on the elevator... I was completely baffled!! (I'm sure once you're familiar to the lay-out it's not confusing, but your first time in the bldg can be! Ok, it's the medical bldg. across the street ('catty-corner' from Moses Taylor Hosp.) 748 Quincy Ave., at the corner of Gibson & Quincy; at the stop sign at that corner,(with the bldg. on your right (hosp on the left) make a right onto Gibson (going along side of the bldg.,) and make a right into the parking lot entrance (it’s at the rear of the bldg. - there are signs for patient parking, which seems to be plenty - I never had a problem finding a spot there – and it’s very convenient because trying to find parking around the hospital is a bear!) After you park, go to the 'main' rear door - closest to Gibson St. (there's an awning over the entrance, which is ground level – no steps or ramp to take (so you don’t confuse it with other nearby entrance doors) and large glass doors with an auto-open push-button feature). As soon as you enter the bldg. from that entrance door, Dr. Delayo's office is right there on the left side, Suite 1A (she shares it with other physicians but her name is on the door). She also has an office in Clarks Summit that's very easy to get to, 407 N. State St., - go north on State St. / Rte 6 through ‘down-town’ Clarks Summit; at the traffic light/intersection at the end of town (Winola Rd. on the left & also a gas station) stay/continue on State St./Rte. 6 going north; from there the office is less than half-a-mile on the left hand side – ‘Physician's Health Alliance’ medical bldg. (looks like a house - has grey siding) also shared with other physicians, Dr. Delayo’s name is listed on the door) it also has adequate, free parking, and all of the offices are ground level. http://www.phaweb.org/PHA%20Podiatry.html
