When I went in,I expected to talk to Dr. Bohme,the dr I made the appt. with. A man came out and got me,took me back to the drs. office and went over my history VERY briefly. I said,when I left, that Dr. Bohme seemed very nice. ONLY THEN was I informed that was not Dr. Bohme,it was his PA. THAT IS AGAINST THE LAW. They have to tell you you are seeing a PA. In fact, I woudn't have seen Dr. Bohme at all unless it was a serious case. All they planned to do was have him look over my records and the testing the PA ordered and THEN he would make his reccomendations. MAKE HIS RECCOMENDATIONS? I said,"WHO wil I see at the last appt". They again said the PA ALSO against the law bevcause they also did not volunteer THAT info to me. I had to find all this out by myself. I would have ended up paying a man I would have never met had I not questioned them. You can tell a lot about a patient by LOOKING at them. He relies on his PA'S to do that. He relies on his PA'S to do most his work.
When I met Dr. Bohme,I was NOT impressed. I found him to be uncaring and arrogant. My questions were either not answered or he was sarcastic.
I finished up my testing and now go to a REAL neurologist.
Even his web page is misleading. It says they are a team of neurologists and professionals. HE is the only neurologist and he has 3 PA'S yet they have SEVEN locations. It says,"New patient Hotline" which is really just their regular office phone number. It says "Headache Clinic". There is not one. All it says is "coming soon". There will never be a headache clinic. He just wants you to think there wil be.
How this man has gotten away with this for so long I will never know. All I know is I finished up my testing to have records to take to another neurologist and I was OUTTA there. People would be crazy to go to this dr. The PA'S do most of his work for him. I love my new neurologist and it was nice to go to a REAL professional.
