The restrooms at this provider's office were clean and well-maintained. You could tell that they cleaned them regularly. This provider has no helpful information available online, apart from their address and phone number. They just have a basic listings page. The equipment seems pretty standard however it wouldn't hurt to upgrade it. I'm sure there's been advancements in technology from when this equipment was put in. I did experience some pain that I felt could have been avoided, but it wasn't too bad.
I only went to see this doctor because I am an ex-military brat and the only way I found out I was pregnant was by going to my local Patient First. I did not have any primary care doctor's of my own so I took their suggestion on an OB/GYN to see. The first visit was with his nurse where she had us fill out a bunch of documents. This is when we found out he only delivers at Chesapeake Regional Hospital. which is about a 45 minute drive for us during good traffic (which never happens). We felt pressured to visit the doctor the next week so we did. I didn't like his attitude and he was entirely rude. Again we felt pressured to come back the next week for an ultrasound, and the week after to review the ultrasound. I felt like it was all premature considering I was only 5 weeks pregnant. I also do not know any other females who have been through this process that were required to come every single week, in their first trimester. So i decided I wasn't going back. I've got appointments to view the birthing centers in the immediate area. Today I get a call from his nurse. I told her I had not done the ultrasound and she starts whipping up trying to set up more appointments and I told her Chesapeake Regional is not close for us so we are looking into other options. She said "So you want me to cancel your OB appointment?" I said "yes thank you" she said "okay bye" and hung up on me. Entirely rude. They also ran numerous tests on me while I was there. drew my blood for tests I hadn't yet approved. When I told them I had an irritation to latex they forced me to do an allergy test, when I told them I had been TREATED for MRSA they panicked and started freaking out on me saying that I shouldn't mention that unless I was 100% a live culture proved I had in fact had it. That was rude. They could've just asked me to try and track down any results that are on file for me. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS OFFICE sadly.
