He insisted on having me return to the office for a pap smear every 6 months while I was on hormonal birth control pills. My pap smears were never abnormal, so I don't know what he was telling my insurance company. When I brought it up that I wasn't able to come in more than once a year due to my crazy work schedule, he dismissed my comments and told me that he wouldn't refill my prescription unless I came back to the office every 6 months. I felt violated in a major way by his attitude. Another fantastic doctor in his group practice only asked that I come back every year to get a refill and a healthy check-up. If the reception staff wasn't so rude, I'd keep going to that nice doctor. But no, I have left that group practice for good.
