I just had a Doctor/Patient phone visit with Dr Ingham today thru Teledoc and Blue Cross/Blue Shield for what is the start of a bronchial infection. I was quizzed repeatedly about why I was seeking medical help for what she referred to as a common cold. While I understand enough about the difference in medications that can help and those that will not, I was made to feel that I was bothering her and she didn't seem to like that I have a general understanding of medications. I was just looking for some medical help on a New Years with limited options... She reluctantly prescribed a Bronchodilator for the condition I described. I asked her when the RX would be sent to my pharmacy and she said "I don't know how that works". In parting I mentioned that I had been on a 6 hour flight recently and that is how I must have caught something and very rudely she said "Well, next time wear a mask!" Dr Ingham was not interested in my history with bronchitis or what I know that will work for me. During our 6-7 minute conversation, Dr Ingham was unprofessional, extremely condescending and downright rude.
