Apparently doctors in our area are now "screening" potential new patients. I called Dr. Lee's office because I've just started searching for a new Family Doctor. I don't know Dr. Lee...never met him. But his receptionist...Bonnie I think her name is..is a horror of a woman. She let me know that the doctor had chosen (for whatever reason) not to accept me as a new patient. When I asked her why she VERY rudely informed me that the doctor "didn't have to give a reason". Bonnie...if you ever read this. Try and remember that the person on the other end of the phone is indeed a person. One that is suffering greatly at the moment and just trying to find a doctor. Bad health isn't something any of us EVER want to deal with...and then having to deal with rude,uncaring,arrogant people over the phone compounds the issue. There is no reason to ever be that rude to a person that is just trying to understand this very strange practice of,"Patient Screening".

I knew I was getting top-of-the-line treatment when they told me about what they learned at the latest conference they attended, and how they were incorporating that knowledge into the practice. I've been other places that left me unattended for quite awhile, but not here. They would never leave me unattended and they always go the extra mile to make me feel cared for. One of my pet peeves is bad breath, and one thing that I have always noticed about this provider is that they never have bad breath. I've never even noticed a smell at all. They're really great about taking their time with me, and they don't mind answering my questions. I've never felt like an annoyance to them no matter how many questions I have. Just as a side note, I was very impressed with how conveniently located this business was and how close it was to other shopping centers. It was so easy to find, I didn't have any trouble at all.
