This was the most unprofessional unethical experience I have ever in my lifetime experienced in regards to a Drs Behavior I was hung up on by the
her nurse that answered the phone and Dr Biedl refused to speak to me.
I was told by HMSA that I had to see this Dr. which I have before but had not been back for quite sometime due to other ailments. I did as HMSA told me to do when I needed a referral and made an appointment with her. I have had many problems regarding female issues so I had been seeing an OBGYN that Dr. Biedel referred to me, well my Obgyn went into private practice so in order to keep seeing her I had to see Biedel in order to get my referral to this particular Obgyn. Well My appt got cancelled by someone named Rhonda, not me. Mind you I waited for this appt to see her for quite some time. In the meantime I am in pain and sick. I called to reconfirm my appt to make sure they had my files which they seem to lose and was told I cancelled my own appt. Oh sorry it was Rhonda. I said Rhonda who?Well Rhonda had no last name and I no longer had an appt. I was insulted by her nurse, Dr Biedel would not get on the phone to explain why my appt was cancelled. after the nurse hung up on me I called HMSA and spoke to a lovely person by the name of Carisma, she finally got Dr Biedel on the phone while Carisma listened in Dr. Biedel proceeded to berate me, again I have not seen this Dr in a year so why the anger towards me? I'm the sick one isn't there something called bedside manner? Well that was not there today thats for sure. I pay a lot of money for my insurance and last I checked they work for us, we help pay their salaries so Dr. Biedel needs to expain why she would not answer any questions or see me or at least explain why. Again I was informed I had to see her in order to proceed with my current situation and to top it off after I questioned her regarding a procedure she told me not to do that she herself had done she hung up on me after I said that she told me not to have the procedure last year, it did not work for her, oh my husband was in the room and heard everything.
I am devastated to say the least, still do not know what is wrong with me, why another ultrasound many questions with no answers. I feel sick and not just because of what took place. I am at a loss and so disturbed that a Dr. would treat anyone like this.
A sad day when a Dr feels its ok to treat a patient like this.
