The most satisfying aspect of family medicine is the relationship I build with a person, and then eventually with the entire family and extended family. I want my patients to feel empowered to make the right decision on their health care. It is not all about what I can do to help patients but much about what they can do to stay healthy and live strong.

Dr Courchesne grew up in Poplar, Montana, and always wanted to live and serve a small community where family physicians are needed. She loves all aspects of family medicine, especially being able to provide a continuum of care - from pregnancy to delivery, and watching that child grow up to adulthood.The most satisfying aspect of family medicine is the relationship I build with a person, and then eventually with the entire family and extended family.
