My husband was seen at the hospital by Dr. Martin and he seemed very nice and took lots of time with us and explained all the different medications and problems. We liked him and thought we might have finally found the person who was going to help control my husband's pain. After my husband was released from the hospital, we were trying to get refills on medications, which Dr. Martin had said to us when we were in the hospital that refills would be no problem...then suddenly it is like he changed into a monster and was so rude and ugly on the phone. It was so horrible to have a dr change and do a complete 360 degrees from what he seemed in the hospital. I do not understand why he wants to treat anyone with such disrespect and unkindness.

I have always gone to see Jim. He is a good doctor. Karen has no bedside manner and seems more like a cop. very arrogant. Maybe i just don't know her.Once i was in the hospital with blood clots in my lungs and Karen came in and rapid fire questioned me about drug use till my BP shot up then acted like I was lying. turns out i have a prescription for the stimulants. I am not a meth head Cindy Mashburn is also there and she is very good . The issue is the staff. I have insurance which they arent contracted to take,I called the ins. and was told that they take claims even if the doctor isn't contracted. All he has to be is a MD. The person at the desk was inattentive to what was going on and then they decided they didnt take my insurance. After calling the company and calling Dr. martins office to talk to them about it she was so rude i hung up. Jim and Cindy are awesome but even with the right insurance i wont be going back. Oh Yea I offered to PAY CASH with no INS and was told they couldn't take my debit card or cash money. I guess if they don't feel they can bleed the ins.co. They don't want your business
