From the wife of the patient......

There definitely appears to be a trend of overbooking clients there. According to my husband, the wait got longer and longer from when my husband first started seeing them. When he told them about his situation, they were somewhat understanding, but they could have been more caring. They didn't try very hard to understand where he was coming from. It was hard to find the building, but he eventually found it. They didn't tell him very much about his treatments' risks and benefits and definitely had no regard for cost. I had to do the research. Their staff was not friendly at all.

He eventually left this doctor and found a new doctor, I had his records transferred for a whopping 85.35 (the highest anyone I've told have heard for sending records to a different doctor’s office- but I guess they can charge what they want), at any rate, this was in May 2013. I have an FSA account in which this was paid from, they requested a receipt (probably stunned at the price) I have been actively seeking this receipt for 3 months. They staff are idiots, rude and uncooperative. I have never seen anything so crazy in my life. A few times (after finally getting someone on the phone) it's "ok we'll send it) when it never comes and I call back it's what are you talking about we can't help you because you are not authorized to talk to us about this account, which mind you, I have done throughout the entire relationship with this doctor. They can't give out names of staff; they put you on hold without regard, talk to you rude and never follow through. The person answering the phone for this office needs a lesson in customer service. They didn't have a problem with me setting all the appointments, paying the bills and requesting medication for him, just about giving me a receipt? I will not attempt to talk to them again, my husband has also tried, and I’m done. I will however deal with them if I have to repay this FSA money or pay taxes on it because they are idiots who refused to produce a receipt! I REALLY DON'T GET IT.

Please, if there is ONE other doctor's office in the entire world besides this one, USE THEM!

They paid close attention to me and all of my questions were answered. Their staff is very friendly and professional. I was very satisfied with my visit. They were helpful and I left feeling encouraged. The office was easy enough to find. I'll definitely be going back. I didn't have a bad experience. The only suggestion I have is that the office needs a facelift. It is dingy and not very welcoming.
