The practice has been owned and operated by Brian P. Maillard, OD since 2004. However, the practice was established over 60 years ago by John "Jack" Glenn, OD. It was started in the small house next to the entrance to the firehouse on Main Street in Cobleskill, NY. Jack's nephew, Donald Plum, OD, joined him and moved the practice to it's current location at 108 Legion Drive. When Jack retired, Dr. Plum was joined by Richard Glenn, OD, Jack's younger brother. Eventually, Dr. Plum moved away and Dr. Maillard joined the practice in 2004. Dr. Richard Glenn retired shortly after.

Their office was well organized and clean. I could tell they took a lot of time making sure it was presentable. There was lots of available parking at their office. I was glad that I didn't have to drive around looking for parking. Not only were they able to provide everything they promised me, they went above and beyond and exceeded my expectations. They've never used foul language, which has bothered me at some of the other places I've been too. They always make an extra effort to be polite and courteous. Whenever I make an appointment, I'm always confident that they're going to be ready for me at my scheduled time. At other places I've been to, it's always bothered me when they postpone my appointment, but they've never done that here.
Their staff is the most friendly, welcoming staff I've ever dealt with. They are so warm and professional, and make the whole experience that much better. Not only were they able to provide everything they promised me, they went above and beyond and exceeded my expectations. As soon as I walked through the door, I was immediately greeted by the friendly staff. They went out of their way to make me feel special and appreciated. I could tell that they took pride in their office's appearance. It was very well organized and well taken care of. It was nice to see them treat their staff with so much respect. It was obvious that they had a good relationship with all of their staff members.
