I have seen Dr. Lewandowski twice and both times she was aloof. On my latest visit, the tech who took by blood pressure noticed that it was high. The tech mentioned that Dr. Lewandowski would notice the blood pressure reading and would request that it be checked again before I left. After telling the doctor my symptoms, I mentioned that the tech noticed my blood pressure was high (which was abnormal for me). Dr. Lewandowski looked at the paperwork and dismissed my blood pressure. She quickly listened to my heart and lungs, gave me prescription and sent me on my way after being in the office for only a few minutes. She seemed to be rushing and was trying to get rid of patients as soon as possible. On my way out of the office, I asked if the tech could check my blood pressure again. It was still high. It was not until 3 weeks later (after experiencing shortness of breath and fluid retention) that I found out through a different doctor that my blood pressure was high because I had developed a heart condition!! Had Dr. Lewandowski actually tried to address my blood pressure, I could have possibly avoided some of the pain and discomfort I experienced. DO NOT GO TO DR. LEWANDOWSKI!! She is uncaring and unprofessional and one of the worse doctors I have ever encountered.

I couldn't agree with the first reviewer more, so I won't repeat what she has said. But let me add to the unprofessionalism of the staff. I had my thyroid removed in 2007, therefore I need synthroid to survive. I have now been attempting to get a refill for 11 days to no avail. I called in a prescription refill to my pharmacist on Tuesday, July 6th. Since I had no refills left I requested that the pharmacist contact my doctor. (I have given up attempting to call reach her long ago.) I gave the pharmacist 48 hours, then went to the pharmacy to pick up my medicine. I was told that they had attempted to reach my doctor three times (once a day) and no one had gotten back to him. I then called the office and was forced to leave a message. I stated that I had no medicine, could not live without it, needed a refill immediately, and could be reached at my number. The following Tuesday (day 8) I called again when I had heard nothing. I was forced once again to leave a message. When I received no return call, I drove over to the office. The nurse told me my prescription had been mailed to me that morning. When I asked her if she felt that mailing the prescription out five full days after receiving a message that a patient was out of medicine was the smartest thing to do, all she would say was, "I'm not going to argue with you." She did give me some sample product to get me through until the script arrived, which I was assured would be Wed or Thurs. When the script didn't arrive in the Fri mail, I went back to the office. I told the nurse that the prescription hadn't arrived, and I was leaving town on Monday. I, at very least, needed more sample product until I got back to town. She refused. She said if the prescription hadn't arrived by Monday, she'd call one into the pharmacy. This is a solution she could have already employed any number of times over the previous 11 days, but had refused. She also could have handed me a script right there in person, but refused to do that too. I still have no medicine. I will never go back to this office again! Beware!! It's your health on the line.
