BEDSIDE MANNER NOT HIS STRONG SUIT

Dr. Tu has NO bedside manner. He is curt and frankly rude. He berated me for having a needle phobia and having piercings by saying things like "it is alot easier than what you DID TO YOURSELF." I got it guy, you don't like piercings and don't understand phobias. I tried to lighten the mood by tell him he had a neat pen and he ignored me, marked the incision area and walked out and then came back when I was numb, did the procedure and left. If this gets infected I'd rather have a piece of my body rot off than have to be subjected to him again. I hear other doctors in the office are excellent. If you can deal with curt, brash and cold then keep your appointment with him. However if you want to be put at ease and see someone who has more personality than a rotting steak under a dumpster in an alley way, steer clear of this guy.

I was treated terribly.
I will never visit Dr. John H. Tu, MD again

I was very disappointed, disrespected, humiliated and made to feel stupid by Dr. John H. Tu.

He was incredibly rushed, overbooked, was very annoyed with my (very few) questions and went so far as to suggest that if I didn't like the lightened skin patch on my cheek that one of my options would be that I could stay in a dark room throughout the summer so that my skin would become pale and match the discoloration! ?????? WHAT????? Unreal.

I have never been treated so rudely or seen such horrible manner in a Doctor before, especially for a new patient. His nurse was left in an uncomfortable position to try to make me feel better. I certainly hope his future patients are treated with the dignity and respect they deserve. People are self conscious about their bodies....I can only imagine an elderly lady being mortified if treated the same way I was.

SHAME on you Dr. John H. Tu!
