Nurses always tell me to go to my primary...will not let me see or talk to Nath. Always in a hurry

I have had two ablations performed by Dr. Nath, one in 2006 and the other in 2012, both of which were unsuccessful. At a my last office visit in 2013, Dr. Nath spent more time reading the text messages on his phone then he did talking with me. In addition, he hadn't reviewed my file before meeting with me so he had very limited knowledge of my past history, which I then had to explain. Very poor form. Needless to say I sought out another electrophysiologist after this visit. Dr. Nath was 0/2 with the worst beside manners I have ever experienced in a physician. I researched and found an highly recognized electrophysiologist, Dr. Sauer, who practices at the Univ. of Colorado Hospital (UCH) in Denver. He and his staff are the consummate professionals. He recently performed my third ablation, and this one was successful! My procedure lasted a little over 5 hours, compared to Dr. Nath's which each were about 2 hours. After my procedure, as a precautionary measure I was required to stay overnight for monitoring, just to be on the safe side (they do this for all ablations). With Dr. Nath I was released as on outpatient a few hours after each procedure. I was astonished at the difference between the two surgeons (ability, skill, knowledge, professionalism, bedside manner, etc.). The A-Team vs. the C-Team. Like night and day. One last thing. When I was released from the UCH, Dr. Sauer’s staff informed me they had phoned my GP and made an appointment for me the following week for a checkup, just as a precautionary measure. And also a follow-up visit with Dr. Sauer in a month. Wow!!
