Office Staff I am in private practice and a fee-for-service provider; I do not go through insurance. As I do not go through insurance, I do not have to assign a diagnosis nor are client files seen by anyone other than me or pursuant to a client's Authorization for Release of Information, court order or if I am mandated by law to report an imminent suicide, homicide or abuse of a vulnerable adult or child. I offer the highest level of confidentiality in a 60-minute session, not the 50 minute insurance hour.
Payment Options I offer a 60-minute session hour, not the insurance-based 50-minute hour. I accept cash or personal check.
Services - short term counseling,
- longer term psychotherapy,
- addressing life transitions/existential issues
- pre-marital and marriage enrichment
- communication skills building
- parenting skills

I primarily use MCBT (mindfulness and cognitive based therapy). This modality focuses on creating an awareness of in-the-moment feelings, thoughts and behaviors in order to bring about change in regard to self and in relationship to others.
