I really don't trust them to only recommend dental procedures I need. It seems like every time I'm there they recommend some ridiculously expensive procedure that I know I don't really need or will have to be RE- DONE. They gave me a little information about fees and payment plans before my treatment, but not enough - of course they are billing taxpayers for most of their clients so why care? SMH. I wish they had gone over treatment options with me, I don't understand Korean or Spanish. I probably would have decided to not do the treatment. If I compare them to others in their field, I wouldn't say they're the worst, but they're definitely not the best - wait - they are among the worst. I had to wait a few weeks to get an appointment but I eventually got in. I was treated terribly. I'm absolutely positive that I would have gotten better service anywhere else. Very dirty, made me uncomfortable! I wanted to jump up and run out! And if you are short on time...forget about these guys - they take forever to call your name, plan on spending hours just waiting & screwing around. Avoid these guys, it's not worth the savings that isn't much at all.
I was given this office as our only option for dental care in Medford, as we are on the OHP. I definitely would go somewhere else if I could.
When I called to make my sons' initial appointments, I was greeted very sweetly and taken care of. I requested an initial appointment with cleanings, and one of my sons needed two ortho rings removed. At no time during the entire phone call, or my subsequent visit, was I informed that they do not provide those services in an initial appointment. When my first son came out from his appointment, I was told that not only did they not clean his teeth, but that they wouldn't do it until they received a clearance from a surgeon regarding a surgery he had TEN years ago when he was seven. Now, I have moved ten or more times since then, and definitely don't remember the name of the ONE doctor who did the surgery out of the ten million I dealt with...but the lady behind the counter was EXTREMELY rude and judgmental about it (you don't REMEMBER who did SURGERY on your SON? she asked). When I told her that he has never had any troubles with any of the dental procedures he had before, she proceeded to tell me, very rudely, that the reason they need this information is so my son doesn't DIE in the chair. DIE?? Why would you say that?? Talk about insensitive and rude and judgmental - she spent the entire time I was in the waiting room rolling her eyes and making comments about the other workers either when they weren't in the room, or behind them where they couldn't see her.
That ONE person, KC, made my entire visit miserable. It was one thing that one of my children had to wait TWO HOURS for his appointment...but the lack of professionalism and basic disregard for anyone else's feelings and intelligence makes me sick. Tactless and rude. She should NOT be allowed to speak to the public.
So basically, because I used to make $50k a year and was able to afford my life before I lost my job and now live in an area with no jobs available in my field due to my husband being relocated, I have been forced to get on state-funded aid. And THIS is how I'm treated.
