I saw Dr. Epstein when I was a young child, around years old. This was almost 30 years ago. He did not allow parents into the room with their children. I came out of his office crying and had a red mark on my chest, according to my mother. I told my mother and her friend who has accompanied us there that Dr. Epstein had hit me and choked me with something. My mother, who was shocked and mortified, quickly took us out of there. She never said anything because she was very shy and this was an uncomfortable situation for her. We never went back. After discussing the situation with her friend, she found out that her friend's son had come out of his office on many occasions crying. Today, almost 30 years later, a person who shall remain nameless took his son there and was separated from his son, who was having work done, due to the fact that Dr. Epstein still has the same rules that parents are not allowed in the room. He heard his son screaming and rushed to the back to find him. When he got to the room, his son was screaming in pain and Dr. Epstein yelled at his father that he was in his way. At this point, his son raised his arm and Dr. Epstein slammed it back down very hard onto the table. At this point he took his son out of there. Unfortunately, he had no idea that this person, Dr. Epstein, had assaulted me almost 30 years earlier until he told me his name. I feel that this Dr. has a history and if investigated more incidents will be brought to light. If anyone else has had a similar experience, please share so that something can be done about his abuse of children. The man is a pedatric dentist and it is scary to think what he has been doing to children. I was shocked to hear he was still in business. I was only able to find 2 other reviews on the web in which both parents were concerned how their children had been treated, as they came out of his office considerably upset. Neither ever returned or reported the incidents.
