I just had my 3rd appt today for my root canal procedure, I have one more left apparently there's a total of 4 appts which I was told there would be only 2. I had an issue with the unprofessional receptionist at the front desk Alma. When I first went in she explained that I needed a root canal down and it would cost me $800 out of pocket and it was a 2 appt procedure. Also that I had to pay the first half at my first appt and the second half at my second, which I did. On my second appt I was told I had to make my next appt for my crown so I did with Alma. After I was done with my 3rd appt I was told I had to make another appt to finish up my crown and I had to pay $1000 and I can pay half now and the rest when I came back. My problem wasn't that I had to pay my issue was how Alma handled it when I told her that I wasn't aware of how much my crown was going to be or that it was part of getting it done after a root canal procedure. She laughed and was talking to me like I was stupid, completely UNPROFESSIONAL! I kept my cool and was speaking to her calm and just confused on why I wasn't told of how much the ENTIRE procedure was going to cost up front BEFORE I started it. She said that everywhere you go they will charge that and gave me a 15% off discount. I explained to her that my problem wasn't about how much their charging me it was about the communication they failed at by not informing me of the TOTAL cost in the beginning. She kept on giving me the run around saying that either way I had to pay and kept giggling and I finally told her that I didn't find any humor in this. She finally stopped with her giggling and just gave me a bad attitude the rest of the time while we were trying to scheduled next and FINAL appointment. I know the Dr heard everything that was going on because the office is very small and quiet and he didn't care to come out and say anything or try to figure out what was going on. He has a completely unprofessional receptionist working for him and can care less.
