I loved how gentle and careful they were while they were cleaning my teeth. My gums didn't bleed at all. They are so kind and caring, and they stay open way past their closing time to help anyone who needs them. They wouldn't deny anyone that needed help. I know I can always count on them. Dentists have always unnerved me but I didn't encounter that here at all, they made an extra effort to inspect my teeth very thoroughly while being as gentle as possible.

I have been going to Dr. Shively since high school. All of the dental hygienists my family and I have seen are great and experienced; I still have the SAME great primary hygienist after 15 years!!!

On a regular visit, I leave with clean teeth, a happy mouth and a status update on my surface cavities. Dr. Shively doesn't "over-fill" every single tiny surface cavity in my mouth if there is no change over the year - he communicates honestly with me about my option to wait and see about some cavities and he wisely recommends fillings when needed. I completely trust him and his recommendations.

When I moved out of state for a few years, I missed Dr. Shively and his excellent staff. I'm so glad I am back in the area again! In fact, I drive up from the LA area to keep him as my family dentist!
