Eva Berend was my savior when I lived in NYC in the late 80's/early 90's. I would fall into the deepest sleep during my acupuncture treatments - better sleep than in my own bed.
She had a way of knowing where I hurt when I walked in and would touch me there directly without me saying a word.
I miss her greatly as I moved away over 20 years ago and am considering a trip from Florida just to see her.

I went in skeptical of acupuncture and I came out a believer! I had lower back pain for 20 years without relief until I went to Eva Berend. I had been to several MDs and chiropractors over the years. I was finally scheduled for surgery, but my insurance ran out and I couldn't do the procedure on my herniated disks. As a last resort I tried acupuncture. I didn't expect it to work and I was completely shocked that it did. I had one visit in January of 2004, and the pain was gone within a week after treatment. The pain came back in the summer and I went again for one visit. The pain was completely gone until I reinjured my back in an accident in 2010. I was in another state, so going back to Eva was not an option. Now I am back in PA and I will travel the 50 miles to her office to see her again.
