Spinal Manipulation:
Spinal manipulation has been used to treat spinal conditions for over 100 years. Its safety and effectiveness have been documented in many research studies. In our clinic, spinal manipulation is used to mobilize painful dysfunctional joints. This results in pain reduction and increased function.
Massage Therapy:
Peer-reviewed medical research has shown that the benefits of massage include pain relief, reduced anxiety and temporary reduced blood pressure, and heart rate. It is also beneficial in expediting the healing of soft tissue after an acute injury, and minimizing the amount of scar tissue formation.
Diagnostic X-Rays:
Regional x-rays are sometimes needed to complete a diagnosis. We conveniently have a modern upright x-ray machine in our office.
Physiotherapy:
In many cases, utilizing physiotherapy is added to speed up recovery. Available in our office:
Ultrasound
Electrical muscle stimulation
Segmental Traction
Cryotherapy
Moist heat therapy
Cold Laser

Exercise Programs:

Early progressive improvement in your symptoms is expected. If this goal is not reached, an appropriate referral may be made. When necessary, advanced diagnostic imaging such as MRI, CT, nerve conduction/EMG, bone scan, and diagnostic ultrasound can be scheduled. Our relationships with other providers enables us provide inter-disciplinary care when the need arises.
