I visited Dr. W. Haffenreffer several times for back pain when he practiced in Oregon many years ago. He had an X-ray machine that he assured me was safe and would subject me to minimal exposure. So he took several X-rays of my back. Each time I visited him my back pain was worse until I could hardly walk. With passing time it improved somewhat. Later, a specialist did an MRI and X-rays. I showed him the X-rays taken by Dr. Haffenreffer and the specialist said they were taken altogether incorrectly from angles that were unable to reveal any possible spinal problems. He called them "worthless" for any diagnosis. Gradually, over time, the pain has become manageable.
