Dr Karl Schippel is an excellent, caring, understanding chiropractor. I have had neck and back surgery before and he is very gentle. I recommend him 100%. I had worked for 2 chiropractors before (Dr Schippel is not one of them). One of them I worked for was in KY and used the Thompson Technique where the table did the work - it drops away and there's not a lot of pain associated with the adjusted. The other chiropractor that I worked for - this time in IL did not use the Thompson Technique and I felt like I was being broke into - and these were before my back and neck surgeries and then I went to one after my neck surgery that also hurt really bad. To say that I was leary about having someone else work on me after having my back operated on and having had my neck operated on is to put it lightly. But there was no need to be concerned. Dr Schippel is by far the best chiropractor that I have ever went to and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone, and if I hadn't have moved 400 miles away I would still be going to him. I also suffer from migraine headaches for which he was able to get some relief for me. Since I have moved I'm too afraid to try another chiropractor since I moved away from the best!
