She is a great doctor. I have had her take excellent care of many of my grandchildren including the one I have living with me. In fact, when this grandchild was born, Dr. Sipes was on duty the next day at the hospital and found the hole in her heart that her own pediatrician had missed.

They didn't tell me very much about my treatments' risks and benefits. I still felt like I had to do my own research. I was a little disappointed with how uninviting the examining rooms were. They should have made more of an effort to make the examining rooms inviting to children. Whenever I make an appointment, I'm always confident that they're going to be ready for me at my scheduled time. At other places I've been to, it's always bothered me when they postpone my appointment, but they've never done that here. They gave about the same level of care as others I have been to for the same problem. When I told them about my situation, they were somewhat understanding, but they could have been more caring. They didn't try very hard to understand where I was coming from.

The doctor seemed offended that I knew what was going on with my daughter. These days you have to be your childs advocate and doctors don't seem to like that.
