DENVER -- The apparent secret workings of a Denver company may have cost unknowing victims their insurance benefits, financial settlements and needed health care.
The accusations claim , the owner Medical Ops Management, altered medical reports to benefit his company and insurance companies. There could be hundreds or even thousands of victims who have no idea.
The medical reports are called "Independent Medical Exams" or IMEs
In a request for a formal investigation, Investigators told the Colorado attorney general, "I am concerned that there are literally hundreds, if not thousands, of individuals in the state of Colorado who have been victimized by this process of systematically altering and/or preparing fictitious medical reports."
