I went in there with moderate acne at 35 years old. I had been successfully treated by another dermatologist in the past and even told Dr Sanchez what medicine I had been on. I told her they had worked well but my insurance had changed which is why I switched dr's. She completely ignored everything I said and put me on the "latest and greatest" meds. Basically everything my ins wouldn't cover and what gave her her kickbacks. Needless to say, after I year my acne hadnt improved much at all and I was on a rx gel, an rx lotion, TWO face washes and antibiotic pills. Whatever makes her the most money is how I see it.

Although Dr. Sanchez may be competent in her speciality with a Harvard degree, her "bedside manner" needs some attending to. As has been previously reported, she is unnecessarily preoccupied with the time. If you make an appointment, she will only deal with one problem, necessitating additional appointments for additional concerns, 1 per appointment/payment. She seems to ignore questions/concerns, and pushes her own agenda.
She pushes acne prescriptions, and seems less interested in other things. I was misdiagnosed with rosacea, when I actually never had this problem. She is constantly distracted with her watch, and her attention seems to be someplace else.
