Dr Riche is very smart and he showed concern for my conidtion, but I whole heartedly agree with some of the other reviewers. He has terrible bedside manner. He outright scolded me for not getting treated sooner (symptoms of severe Graves disease progressed over a 6 month time period). Although I did not appreciate his lack of tact, I was finally sitting with a doctor that showed concern and gave me the raw truth. On the other hand, Dr Riche has tunnel vision. His concern is only my disease and could care less about anything else that could be wrong. He may as well put his hands over his ears when I explain other symptoms unrelated to my disease or express concerns for the course of treatment.

At the beginning I felt he listened to my concern but after the first appointment I was shocked when they dismissed my concerns as unimportant. I knew that my situation needed attention, and I couldn't believe that they wouldn't even look into it. They were very qualified and knowledgeable but my questions on other issues I was asking about seemed to be "not his problem" even though I was still fatigued and was being treated for thyroid problems. Now I find out I might have Lupus and guess who found that out? MY ORTHO Dr. NOT Dr Riche who I had just seen last month for my thyroid with complaints that I was still not feeling up to par. He basically poo poo'd me as he did every appointment. He's an Endo, shouldn't he suspect that I could be suffering from other auto immune diseases? Don't know why I had put up with his arrogance of not taking more time or run more blood tests to look into my concerns. Guess after having crappy military doctors who treat me the same it only seemed too familiar. I will be leaving. Who knows how long I have been living with Lupus since Dr. Riche didn't care to pursuit any of my complaints. . As others I feel he certainly can improve on his bedside manners there's no way I feel he is a doctor who is concerned with my health and well being.
