I was recently a patient at Regency Gardens. I cannot say enough wonderful things about their caring staff of nurses and therapists! Everyone who was involved in my care did a fantastic job and I'm grateful to them all!

Two years ago, my husband was a resident at this facility .When I slipped and fell in my kitchen at home, I decided to move to Regency Gardens and together we shared a room. I stayed with my husband because he needed me and I was always there for him until the end. We were fortunate to celebrate our 71 years of happily married life with our family and friends- a true blessing! Our family consists of two sons and their wives, two grandsons, one great-grandson, one great-granddaughter and one great-grand-daughter on the way.
I have food choices, selected on my weekly menus.
At the Gardens, I am always well taken care of, clean, and safe. My favorite activity is "Arts and Crafts". Al of my handiwork is prominently displayed in my room.

I've been to many facilities, and my experience here has been terrific. I feel at ease with the staff, and know my wife is in good hands. They go above and beyond to help their patients and families. You can feel when you come in there is a lot of love here. I can only say thank you.

I am very happy being at Regency Gardens in Wayne and I'm hoping my stay will be long term. I feel positive, because I know I'm on the right track, even though I'm only 61 and have had medical problems for at least 20 years. I have very nice friends and I am comfortable here. I like the activities - it's always a social event. The entertainment is excellent. Therapy is great! The CNA's are great! The food is great! I am doing my exercises and being treated well. This is my home.

There are no words than can express our gratitude to the Regency Gardens in Wayne, for all they did to make my brother as happy and comfortable as possible, when he was riddled with pain and disoriented by medication and drugs in his last months. I well know that hospice and hospital rules preclude any monetary gift, nor could such a gift ever repay them for their care and concern. Instead, we wish to share with them (and the rest of the internet) our deepest and most heartfelt gratitude.

It is difficult to express my deepest feelings concerning my Jane’s four years at Regency Gardens. The wonderful caregivers like Carmela, Carol, Mary, Kristen, Nurse Kristen and others, is unprecedented. I shall continue to sing your praises to anyone needing a “second home!”

My Father, Joseph M. has been a resident at Regency Gardens in Wayne, NJ for the past few years. We transplanted him from a different facility because Regency was geographically convenient for family visits and it was highly recommended by friends and families who had relatives there.

We all agree that we made an excellent choice. We are especially pleased by the meals that are served. The food is always top quality and tailored to the residents needs.

Joseph is 94 years old and we are quite pleased with the care and hard work of the staff.

Regency Gardens Nursing and Sub-acute Rehabilitation Center is especially accommodating for a husband and wife in the same room and sharing in activities.

As a pampered wife, my husband did everything for me. The Regency Gardens continued to take care of my needs when he was not capable.

It's very comfortable on the second floor where the nurses are professional, compassionate and understanding; and the aides are always helpful and attentive.

There are many activities available to anyone who wishes to participate. It has been a rewarding experience for me!

I seldom write lengthy reviews for anything, but it is deserved in this case.
If you were a "Mr. or Mrs. Regency" resident, here is what you might expect during one day at the home.

The morning will be brightened by a trained CNA who will help you rise and shine and who will tempt you with the thought of a good, hot breakfast coming soon. You may join others in the dining room or have breakfast in the privacy of your room.

After this healthy start, there are several options - a visit with the therapist, perhaps a shower or some group activity from our recreational staff, such as a ring toss, bowling or an exercise class. By then it is nearly lunch time and families are always welcome for those "look forward to" visits. Your dependable aides are also there to assist you, as well as the skilled nurses.

The afternoon has several more recreational activities - bingo, a movie and some days, lively musical entertainment. Trivia sessions are for those who enjoy stimulating the mind, while personal creativity is enhanced by those who work on hand crafted projects.

The evening meal is a family social event as well as fine nourishment. Some residents chat on for awhile; others head for quiet time in their rooms or a scheduled shower.

During the week, there are Catholic, Jewish and Protestant religious services to complete the all-inclusive care of the whole person.

When day is done, we are grateful to and for the professional skill and caring of our staff and nurses. They give a different degree of care to residents, knowing and understanding individual needs.

That sums up a "day's observation" here at Regency Gardens!
