I have no idea what happened but he is the best dentist I have ever gone too. The staff is top notch and make me laugh. They treat me like a family member than just a patient. I have done 3 root canals and a cleaning. I absolutely love him and his staff. I think if u didn't like him it may be ur personality doesn't fit. I found him to be fun and his staff is a blast

I am VERY disappointed in Dr. Hawkins! Soon after I completed my first appointment with him (cleaning), I received a letter in the mail saying he is not my dentist anymore. I firmly believe I am being discriminated against, due to my having so many medical diagnoses. I was recommended by a former friend that knows Dr. Hawkins from the Lions Club in Burleson. However, that friend and I are no longer friends. I really do believe that Dr. Hawkins terminated his relationship as my dentist due to that and also because I am not interested in the cosmetic dentistry that he offers. He only wants patients that will spend a lot of money getting cosmetic dentistry done by him. Also, during my initial appointment (cleaning), he had his gloves on that he uses to look inside my mouth, multitasking, by using the computer and moving the mouse around and then he tried to use those same gloves to exam my mouth! I mentioned to him that I would like for him to put another set of new gloves on because computers/mouses have germs and I don't want him to look in my mouth with the same pair of gloves. His response, "we spray it down everyday." I couldn't believe he said that because so many people touch that same mouse/computer all throughout the day. Also, another thing I found very strange at his office is they take about 1.5 hours of photos of your mouth, trying to get you to agree on other costly services that he performs in cosmetic dentistry. I would NOT recommend Dr. Hawkins! This review that I wrote is my honest experience with the service I received.

They barely gave me any information at all. I'm going to have to do my own research to get my questions answered. Their staff was not that friendly, and didn't go out of their way to make me feel welcome. They didn't help me as much as I was hoping and didn't answer all my questions
I will add to this person....run, run as fast as you can from this practice.
he betrayed me badly, made poor decisions about sending me to his friends, charged things on insurance that he didn't do. caused abcess and I had to go to a specialist for root canal. he advised a friend to pull that tooth, I am happy to say it has been well for 2 years. it never hurt in the first place till he touched it. all the lying, betrayal, as good as I was to him. and going to church to and giving our business cards is awful! He told me a woman was trying to ruin his character because of something he did to her son. I am thinking, what character? and just so you know, don't be and idiot and drive to forney because TRINITY does not mean the Father, Son and the Holy Ghost.,trust me. you will end up in a mess and pay for all those adventourous vacations they like to take. they are so nice at the beginning, giving their cell numbers, call me anytime, BUT let things go wrong....they could care less, all they want is money. they do not live by golden rule at all. i wish he and his friends all that is due to them. they are starting off with wrong intentions, God knows it but they don't. Shame, Shame, on all denitsts who rip people off. letting you know about this one.
