I was camping in the part of sate Dr. Burch works in, and found 2 hunting dogs, one very thin, the other getting thinner by the minute. I live very very far north and could not take them in, though I desperately wanted to! She took them in, and is going to make sure they are well before finding homes for them. This vet was amazing, this was at 7pm and she had been open and busy since 7am. People in the line said that they had no idea what they will do if she ever retires (she is very old) or passes away. Everyone loved her, and I found out why when it was our turn. She spoke too the animals, not me, and these nearly feral hounds listened to her as if she were their grandmother. Her tone was soft and understanding. If it were not for the distance, I would gladly take my dog to her for every and any need!

I am very careful with selecting a vet for my animals . I have spoke wit dozens of others that go here and all are very happy . Not the most modern facility but dont let that turn you away. The service is top notch .

Not at all! They always try to get me in as soon as possible

Definitely! They always remember me and make me feel important!
When your pet had to stay in overnight care did this veterinarian call you with follow-ups when they promised they would?
Absolutely, they usually call more times than they say they promised. I was fully informed the whole time.
Did this provider ever take personal phone calls while in the appointment room with you?
No, they've never taken personal calls with me

No, my pet seems to love it here and is never anxious to leave

Absolutely, I knew exactly what my pet had and what treatment options were available.
