Without the psychiatric care of Dr. el-Borno, I honestly don't think I'd be here today to write this review. From the time I was a teen until now at age 50, I've had to deal with symptoms of bipolar disease, with my moods fluctuating widely and sometimes frequently. It has been difficult to be a good wife and mother throughout these years, and I can only imagine how difficult it has been to be a husband or my child during this time. In my lifetime, I have been a patient of no less than six mental health professionals...until I met "Lucky Number Seven", Dr. el-Borno. I have been with this conscientious, professional, caring and effective professional for nearly 13 years, and I count myself as blessed for having found him. With him, I feel that I have his complete attention, that he cares profoundly about my quality of life, and that he has the necessary qualifications, experience, and knowledge to diagnose and treat me. He and I have had quite the successful collaboration and I look forward to continuing to work with him for a long time to come to improve my mental health. Thank you so much, Dr. el-Borno!

my daughter has been a patient for 22 years. dr. borno has been there for her through good and bad times, doing his best to reassure and help her. she has improved significantly over the years and is preparing to be a mother in the next few weeks. he has also helped us as a family and it has not been an easy road. we will continue our relationship with him as long as he will have us. we value him as a dr. and a friend. his advice is always truthful and to the point, which we appreciate.

Sometimes, it was a little frustrating
Did the staff make you feel uncomfortable when you called with questions or concerns?
Not at all! They were happy to address every concern I had
Did you spend a lot of time in the waiting room at this psychiatrist's office?
The wait wasn't terrible, but it wasn't the best
Does this provider leave you on hold for a long time when you call?
Never! I don't think I've ever been put on hold here for a long time

I find it difficult to put into words just how grateful I am to Dr. El-Borno. I have been “treated” by many psychiatrists / psychologists in the past but to no avail. My level of depression / anxiety was extreme and I had no hope. Dr. El-Borno was able to utilize his vast knowledge and experience to diagnose me appropriately and implement a treatment plan that has alleviated much of the pain I was experiencing. I have been to doctors where I felt like I was only another co-payment and not much else. With El-Borno I feel safe and cared for, it is obvious that it’s not about the money with him. Dr. El-Borno truly cares for his patients’ well-being. I would recommend Dr. El-Borno to anyone that is in need of a brilliant doctor who deeply cares about his patients.

Definitely! It was one of the best looking offices I've ever seen!
Does this provider ever overbook appointments here?
No, They definitely believe in quality over quantity and allow more than enough time in between appointments
Did you notice a foul odor when you arrived at this provider's office?
Not at all, their office smelled fantastic!

Extremely easy, and close to the entrance

I waited longer than I wanted to, but it wasn't terrible

No. It took me several times to get through.

Dr El Borno has changed my life. I have been on many medications in the past but was never diagnosed correctly. My family doctor simply just kept upping my dosage and changing my meds having me walking around like a zombie. I called Dr El Borno one day about a year ago now he called me back within the hour I told him what I had going on he scheduled me within the next three days for an appointment that worked for me. He then diagnosed me with the correct disorder that my other dr.'s hadn't been able to do for years within talking to me for a few minutes. I have been on a medication regiment that has changed my life. I am back to my old self and I have Dr El Borno to thank for it. I recomend him to anyone that may be in need of a psychiatrist!! He is kind and funny and super down to earth. He makes you feel compfortable right away. He is a top notch dr.

The office is very easy to find and located in a safe neighborhood. I feel that I am able to ask any questions and that they are always answered fully and professionally. Visiting Dr. El-Borno's office is always uplifting!
