Their office was the absolute perfect temperature. It was so nice to be able to get out of the weather outside and sit in a relaxing, comfortable office. They made sure every single question I had was answered, and are always available if I think of any more questions I want answered. Not only were they able to answer all of my questions about immunizations, they gave me a lot of information that I wasn't aware of. I was amazed how much they knew. Whenever I asked them for more information about anything, they were happy to take the time to give me as much information as I wanted. They made me feel like every question I had was important. Everyone in my community knows that they are the absolute best in the field.

They were by far one of the best I've ever seen in their field. It was obvious that they've been exceeding their clients' expectations for many years. They do such a great job of never overbooking appointments, even though they are extremely popular. I know for a fact that they have lots of business, but I've never had to wait a long time in a crowded waiting room like other places I've been too. I was so impressed with the progress I was able to make after visiting them. All my questions were answered, and I feel a lot more confident and hopeful about the future. They keep the restrooms well-stocked here, and not just with the basics. There is mouthwash, lotion and other amenities. You can tell they want their clients to be as comfortable as possible. Whenever I asked them for more information about anything, they were happy to take the time to give me as much information as I wanted. They made me feel like every question I had was important.

Today I was refused medical care for my 6-year old son by the pediatrician’s office that has taken care of him for the past 6 years, still has his medical records, and had availability to be seen. We recently relocated to Indianapolis, IN, but have returned to our home in NY for the holidays.

WHAT I WAS TOLD
- Was refused to be seen because I was told they were no longer his primary care physician, hence, they could not bill for the services. I offered to pay for the visit out-of-pocket, but was still refused.
- Was told that because they were no longer his primary care physician, that we would not be seen.
- Was told that there was no doctor in the office this morning.
- I asked them for consideration based on the fact that they knew my sons medical history, but was dismissed.
- Was told that the doctor in the afternoon could not see too many patients because she would get frustrated and gets of control.
- Was told that the best option was to go to an urgent care office by both and administrator and was repeated as the recommendation of Dr. Scott Bello.

WHAT I FOUND OUT
- My health insurance company would process the claim from the office or would reimburse me.
- That Dr. Scott Bello was indeed in the office that morning.
- Spoke to NYS Department of Health to validate filing my complaint.
- Called and asked to speak to Scott Bello; was refused; wouldn't forward my request; and wouldn't be available until next week.
- I called another pediatrician and explained what had happened, and they were “disgusted” by what I told them and that they would be happy to see my son.

I am disgusted by the lack of morality, unconscionable behavior lacking truth, poor business ethics, and flat out a violation of their practice to provide care to my son, that I suspect is a violation of his patients’ rights.
