Not having a regular dentist, yet in need of having a painful and unsaveable tooth pulled, I contacted several dentists who advertised as accepting new patients. Most had no available open appointments sooner than 1-2 weeks, and when asked the nature of my problem, much to my surprise learned that extractions were discouraged in favor of multiple and very expensive procedures aimed at saving the molar...until I informed them I had no dental insurance at which point they couldn't get off the phone quickly enough, however everyone I spoke with recommended Piedmont Dental Center.

I contacted PDC, obtained an appointment for the same afternoon, arrived 10 minutes early, was called back nearly before I had the time to complete the patient forms, was x-rayed, had the tooth out almost before I got comfortable in the chair, was given an RX for pain, and given both written and verbal instructions on follow-up care. I paid the $130 charge in full by debit card, which included the x-ray (which if I should need their services again within 3 years, will not require another.) Total visit time....35-45 minutes. High volume of clients, yet extremely professional and prompt service. Save yourself time, money and pain by going to Piedmont Dental Clinic.
