I will never be going back to this dentist.
I have taken my child here since he was 4. So 4 visits. They have never done xrays and have always said that everything was great.
I just took him two weeks ago and they decided it was time for xrays. They tried one and he gagged a tiny bit and they stopped and would not try again. They said we will do it next visit. The dentist came in and did the exam. He said it looks like he might have a tiny bit of decay and there may be one cavity. He was not going to do the xrays or anything. He was done right away and said you should take him to a pediatric dentist. I took him to another dentist and they did xrays right away. My child has 8 cavities and one of them needs a root canal. They said this cavity has been growing for 2 years at least. How did they never do xrays or see decay at all. Yes I said 8 cavities. Really you never saw a tiny bit of decay or tried to xray him before this. It is sad because this could have been avoided if they had taken the time to check, or just said they did not want to take care of a child. Sad!

Their staff was not friendly at all. I extremely unhappy with the front desk service rendered at this office and with Dr. Dupuis brushing off my concerns on the unprofessionalism of his front desk office staff that occurred on today (4-17-2012). I have had other unprofessional encounters from this office but today was the last that I am going to take. It doesn't matter if people have worked for you for a long length of time it matters if your patients are treated in a respectable manner while in your office being seen. I don't appreciate the fact that when I addressed my concern, he, Dr. Dupuis, just brushed my concerns off stating "I rarely get complaints". I have seen complaints on a website pertaining to your office staff being rude. This is a very serious matter to me and I feel as a patient it should be addressed to your staff. Professionalism starts with answering the phones, placing patients on hold, talking to the patients using eye contact, etc). It is because of my hygienist that I am still coming to Dupuis Dental for my cleanings otherwise I would have left a while ago from a previous matter and regarding the current matter in this office. A manager should always listen to the concerns of his/her patients not act as if it is not of any importance to you. Every place of employment has its flaws and as a manager of a company, I feel, that a manager should address the concerns of their patients to their employees no matter if he/she feels that their business is being run in good standards. Patients have concerns and they should feel comfortable taking those concerns to the attention of the manager and I am one that didn't feel comfortable today. I hope that this message reaches the manager and he takes these concerns in and understands that these things within this message are a great concern of many businesses today. Professionalism is very important in any business and it begins once the patient walks through that business door. Thank you for taking the time to read my concerns within this message. Have a blessed day!!

They barely gave me any information at all. I'm going to have to do my own research to get my questions answered. Their staff was not friendly at all, I didn't feel welcome there. I feel like my appointment was pointless. None of my questions were answered, nothing was accomplished, and my son felt worse when he left. The staff lied about the appt. telling me they would fix my sons chipped tooth in one visit, then when I went to the appt. they said I would have to bring him back. We waited a whole week for this appt. on purpose to avoid two trips, for convienience,as well as not to double bill and squander away what little insurance money I have for dental work for six kids . In the end, Dr. Thomas Dupuis himself sent me a nice letter asking that neither me or the rest of my family come back to his office again. Thanks Dr. D. I WILL KEEP SEARCHING FOR A MORE SKILLED DENTIST THAT CAN FIX A SIMPLE TOOTH CHIP IN A SINGLE VISIT. Im sure there are dentists out there that haven't forgotten the meaning of "HEALTH CARE"
