The first time I took my child to Famil Allergist I requested to have him food allergy tested they felt that there was no need. I didn't argue it because I thought they were the more experienced and I let it go. Once my child started allergy shots, I had them administered at our pediatricians office. Family Allergist gave both myself and my child's pediatricians office the running around to try to have his serum filled. It took days of calling them back and forth before I could go pick my child's serum. They once told me that they called my home leaving me messages for a follow up appointment, which I told them I never received, because of this they refused to give me my child's serum. What kind of doctor's office withholds your medication because you didn't make an appointment with them, because I never received those messages. I was given the run around too many times with this office, I decided to change allergist. Family Allergist refused to give the new allergist my child's records which they requested. I had to drive out of the way and pay $35 to get his entire record, which I DID NOT get. I called asking for them to fax the rest of my child's records and they choose not to. Anyway, I would NEVER go back to this place, the employees are unprofessional and rude. I was very disappointed. BTW, momma knows best: Through the new allergist my child finally got food allergy tested, my child has a PEANUT allergy. Thank goodness my child never ate peanuts.
