I had never been to a podiatrist in my life. Dr. Scherr came highly recommended. He explained everything to me very clearly. My surgery went well and the follow-up visits have been comfortable and pleasant.
Dr. Scherr has a very dry, delightful sense of humor. He always makes me laugh. His reception office is pleasant.

Had a poor experience today. Walked into to the office to be blatantly ignored by Dr Scherr. He was the only one at the desk. He had his back to me and I was standing 2 feet away. Did not look round (it was very obvious that I was there and there were no other patients in the waiting area), say 'hi' or 'how are you' or the best thing to say would have been 'someone will be with you in a moment.' Did not look in my direction. Simply walked away from the desk and me, only to be left there for another couple of minutes wondering where everyone was. Ended up walking out having spoken to no-one. Have seen him walk through to waiting room without acknowledging any of his patients or even making any eye contact. I was prepared to give him the benefit of the doubt because he seems to do a good job but ignorance is not acceptable. Receptionists have always been very helpful and pleasant but I will not go back there.
