I would like to say with absolute certainty that this doctor is the very best I have ever experienced in Hawaii, and I have been to several. I was pleasantly surprised that his professional demeanor and amiable personality put me immediately at ease. After examination, this very professional doctor takes the time to sit with you in his office (when you have all of your clothes on and feel more comfortable) and answers any questions you may have at that time.
His staff is wonderful, very friendly and helpful. The office is very easy to find on one of the main streets in Aiea, parking is convenient and reasonable. I am so happy that I switched from a very busy doctor who didn't have any time to spend with her patients except in the examining room when you are disrobed and positioned in such a way that you are not comfortable speaking.

They always take the time to listen to me. I know they really care about me and what I have to say. They were by far one of the best I've ever seen in their field. It was obvious that they've been exceeding their clients' expectations for many years. I will definitely refer my friends and family here. They were great and I think more people should know about them.

*Had my first and only with him and he did a wonderful job. Had to have a c-section and he was really supportive my whole pregnancy and labor! Couldn't ask for more.

Dr. Tanoue and his staff always knocked before entering the exam room, and even waited for me to reply that I was ready before entering. They really respected my privacy. It was very easy to get an appointment. They have a very flexible schedule and get me in quickly every time. They called me with my test results fairly quickly. I was happy with their promptness. Now that I've left the island, I really do miss Dr. Tanoue and miss having him as my OB-GYN. He was extremely knowledgeable and always answered any questions I had about my treatment. In fact, he caught a few issues long before they could escalate, even though I did not show symptoms (e.g. fibroids). I am still searching for a provider on the mainland who remotely compares to him. If I had the money, I'd fly back to the island just to receive care from him and his office.
