Having numerous health issues, I was always being told how "bad" I was. I was forced to look for a new Dr. due to life changing events and I found Dr. Mendez. On my first visit, she said and I quote "You will be my fun patient". She was so positive and cheerful that I was able to relax and feel like I found someone that didn't expect me to be perfect. Through several trials for differnt conditions, she has always been supportive and attentive. I've not followed her advise and been afraid to return only to find reassurance that she doesn't expect me to be perfect and she'll be the first to admit that she isn't either.
She takes her time with each patient. She isn't one to put a time limit on your visit. She ensures that you are well taken care of before you leave her office.
My advice is to write all of your thoughts down and ask all of your questions when you see her. She will asnwer them for you before you leave.
She is absolutely a wonderful person and Physician. It was such a blessing to find her!
