I have a chronic condition and been going to this doctor about four times a year for about ten years. He has always been extremely professional, thorough, and always explained precisely what is going on with my condition so that I can make informed decisions.

My condition requires regular blood tests due to the drugs I am taking, and it is incredibly convenient that he has the facilities to do his own blood testing in the office instead of sending me to a separate lab as most doctors these days do.

His staff is very helpful with things like making appointments and calling in to get results. I have a heavy and unpredictable travel schedule, and they are great about fitting me in at the last moment when I finally find out I will be home rather than traveling. They also work directly with the service provider that provides my prescriptions and automatically fax in renewals -- I never have to deal with it at all and my meds are always available. And never a screw-up in paperwork or insurance billing in ten years.

The only complaint I would have, and I find this minor with the tremendous service he provides, is that the wait is often long, especially later in the day. He spends as much time with each patient as he needs to -- he never rushes you out and makes you come back if things are taking longer than originally planned -- so he does tend to run over and get later as the day goes on. I usually try to book as early in the day as possible.

Also, use your navigation system if possible. That part of Jersey City is a maze of small one way streets. And allow time to find parking, which usually isn't easy.

But I find that a fabulous doctor and a fabulous staff is so hard to find these days that a little inconvenience is definitely bearable.

They barely gave me any information at all. I'm going to have to do my own research to get my questions answered. Their staff was not friendly at all, I didn't feel welcome there. They didn't help me as much as I was hoping and didn't answer all my questions. It was pretty hard to find the building, but I eventually found it.
The Staff is extremely rude and not helpful. my health has gotten worse since i've been going there. The staff and doctor's last concern is the patients, the following up is terrible. Think twice before seeing Dr Maiello, look somewhere else.
