She returned to Arkansas for medical school at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. She then completed her pediatric residency at St. Louis Children's Hospital through Washington University in St. Louis, followed by Allergy & Immunology fellowship at the University of Missouri - Kansas City. Her interests include food allergy, allergic rhinitis, and asthma.
