Dr Kathleen Lao has always found joy in working with children of all ages. She began her medical journey volunteering as a teen for Camp Joyful Hearts, a Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center summer camp for children with congenital heart disease. Seeing the physicians interact with the campers inspired her to become a pediatrician, ensuring the well-being and fostering the potential of children. Dr Lao sees patients from newborn through college age for the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic illness. With a warm and empathetic approach, she takes time to listen and address the concerns of her patients and their families.
