I am an assistant professor of surgery and the director of abdominal transplant critical care in the University of Florida Division of Transplantation and Hepatobiliary Surgery. My aim is to optimize care for transplant patients in the ICU, both preoperatively and postoperatively, to decrease morbidity and mortality. I specialize in abdominal transplant, transplant critical care and pulmonary and critical care with an interest in extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) in lung transplantation. I received my medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine and completed my internal medicine residency at Wright State University.
