Timothy Hembree, DO, PHD
Dr Hembree is interim chair of the Department of Internal and Hospital Medicine (IHM). The department is made up of hospitalists, ambulatory internal medicine doctors, the specialty of infectious disease as well as advanced practice professionals (APPs). We provide inpatient management of patients, consultative service for surgical patients, post-acute hospitalization follow-up, preoperative risk assessment and chronic disease management in the outpatient ambulatory medicine clinic. Dr Hembree has been involved in the design of our care delivery models in all these care settings. He also serves as Vice President, Chief Quality Officer at Moffitt Cancer Center.
