Dr Sher attended Georgetown University in Washington D.C. for both her undergraduate and medical degrees. She completed her residency at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA followed by a fellowship in pulmonary medicine. She went on to complete her fellowship training at the renowned National Jewish Medical and Research Center, in Denver, CO, which is the top respiratory hospital in the U.S. according the U.S. News and World Report.
